Anne-Catherine Caron

Anne-Catherine Caron (Châteauroux, FR, 1955)
Anne-Catherine Caron is a French artist part of the Lettrists alongside Isidore Isou, Jean-Pierre Gillard, Gérard-Philippe Broutin and Roland Sabatier. She has been engaged, from the beginning, in a unique type of research based on the figure of the square. In 2007, she directed Apparition of a Disappearance, a film honouring Isidore Isou, who died the same year. Anne-Catherine Caron also directs the Internet blog named “Les enfants de la Créatique et du Lettrisme”. Also a translator, she signed the French version of Mirella Bandini’s “Pour une histoire du Lettrisme”.
