Ben Vautier (Naples, Italy, 1935). Ben Vautier’s, or simply know as Ben, work is probably by far the most present in popular culture. Deeply attached to words, he worked beyond his artistic practice to defend dying dialect such as the “Occitan” in Southern France. Important part of the Mail-art, he also wrote several texts about Fluxus. His distinguished typography has been a trademark that can still be recognized at first sight.
