Daniel Spoerri

Daniel Spoerri (Galati, Romania, 1930). Daniel Spoerri’s work tented to redefine the perception of common objects or settings. His most noticeable work, the “snare pictures”, depict diner tables after a meal has been consumed on them. Following that idea, he largely contributed to Francesco Conz’s collection of “Fetisch”, every day objects turned into art, without alteration, by the solely fact that they were chosen by artist.
