Gerhard Rühm (Vienna, Austria, 1930). Gerhard Rühm was a multitalented artist who’s work oscillate between poetry, music composition and visual art. Founder of the “Wiener Group”, he also taught for three decades at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Putting words in concrete forms, he triggered Francesco Conz’s interest and commissioned him to produce an emblematic series of edition on cloths, the “Klangenkörper”.
