Isidore Isou (Botosani, Romania, 1925 – Paris, France, 2009). Isidore Isou’s poetry defined what we know today as Lettrism. Being a controversial poet, his explicit passion for women was a key subject of his work. With Francesco Conz he developed a recurrent topic and pattern, “Initiation à la haute voluptée” that he transposed to canvas and edition on cloth.
