Luciano Caruso (Foglianise, IT, 1944 – Firenze, IT, 2002)
Luciano Caruso was an Italian poet, visual artist, critic, journalist and writer. He grew up and lived in Naples, working as editor of many magazines such as “Linea Sud” and “Continuum” as part of the avant-garde “Group 58”. Caruso was also influenced by the French experience of the 1960s near to Lettrism and late Surrealism. In his experimentation he used analogue techniques investigating the role of the poetry in visual expression.
