Paul Talman (Zurich, Switzerland, 1932 – Ueberstorf, Freiburg, 1987). Specialized in lithography, Talman reflected his skill in his work. Producing series of artworks consisting of engraved acrylic glass, he was also familiar with product and furniture design, noticeably for KNOLL. Following his 1961 breakthrough exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Talman was asked to participate in the Documenta 4 in Kassel where he presented four of his kinetic works, “Orb Images”. In addition to his artistic and design practices, he joined an advertising agency from 1959 to 1972 in Basel, where he met and collaborated with artists such as Dieter Roth and Daniel Spoerri.
