Plinio Mesciulium

Plinio Mesciulam (Genoa, IT, 1926)
Plinio Mesciulam is an Italian artist, painter and sculptor and performer. From 1952 to 1954 he is part of the promoting committee of the MAC – Concrete Art Movement, developing research on the relationship between color-form-architectural space. In the same years he founded the Genoese movement group with local painters of abstract tendency. In 1976 he also started the “Mohammed Restricted Communication Center” project, a Net Art project focused on the invention of a worldwide communication circuit, documented with 1,300 copies kept at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles and of which an entire correspondence is kept at the MART of Trento.
