Robert Watts (Burlington, Iowa, 1923 – Bangor, Pennsylvania, 1988). Robert Watts is a major figure of Fluxus called also the “Invisible man of Fluxus (…)” despite his long engagement to the movement. While being a close collaborator of George Maciunas, he met Francesco Conz in 1974 which was the start of a long friendship, that found its culmination in various editions and in frequent visits to one another. In Conz’s words, Bob Watts “was blessed with a powerful, innovative spirit — a spirit of experimentation — that carried Editions F. Conz to a very high level of quality”.
