Rolando Mignani (Genoa, IT, 1937 – Milan, IT, 2006)
Rolando Mignani was an Italian artist and poet. Mignani was an important exponent of Visual Poetry who worked mainly in Genoa, where he participated in magazines such as Tool (1965) and Bollettino Tool (1968) directed by Ugo Carrega. He participated in many national and international exhibitions dedicated to Visual Poetry. From the 1970s, together with the brothers Carlo and Mario Romano and Alfredo Passadore, he founded the “Atelier Bizzarro”, an editorial and study project connected to poetry.
