Roy Adzak (Reading, UK, 1927 – Paris, France, 1987). Born Royston Wright, Roy Adzak was a sculptor and photographer who settled in Paris in the early 1960s. His practice explores alternative visual perceptions through volumes, voids and raw cuts of common objects. His most noticeable works consist of dehydrated animals and plants. The “Musée Adzak” he created in Paris in the 1980s as a residency and exhibition space for young artists is active to this day.
